“The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs. By A. Wolf”
Author Jon Scieszka
This tells the story of the Three Little Pigs from the
wolf’s angle. You can discuss this with
your child. Ask questions throughout to encourage them to consider both sides
of the story.
Examples:
Was the wolf wrong for eating the
little pigs in this story?
Why did the pigs hide?
Would you get angry if someone
said something not nice about your granny?
What would you do? Would this
reaction be right?
“Goldilocks and the Three Bears”
Author Lauren Child
This is the traditional version of Goldilocks and the Three
Bears written in Goldilocks view. Ask your child:
“Is this what you would do?”
“How would you feel if someone
was to use your things without asking?”
“Do you think Goldilocks would mind if it were here house?”
